Spud-Crusher Principles

The Spud-Crusher Principles

The philosophy of this newspaper is to provide an independent approach to the issues concerning our Island and the world surrounding it. Partisan politics and criticizing public figures are not the avenues by which the content will be selected. Instead, analyzing contemporary problems and future trends will be the focus. The Spud-Crusher’s analysis will include fresh ideas and solutions in line with the paper’s optimistic outlook. The underlying motivation for all opinions is this and only this:

PEI is a place full of inspiring people, serene landscapes and peaceful settings. This unique Island of ours can serve as a model of how to blend the modern and traditional ways of life. As inhabitants of this beautiful Isle it is our solemn obligation to afford every effort to improving the Island way of life. This entails protecting the environment, empowering ourselves through education and healthy living, while never being afraid to move forward. Real change will come only with bold decisions and swift action. The path our future takes will ultimately rest with us, the keepers of our Island’s spirit.
